Clear Vision at Any Distance: Bringing This Happiness to Everyone

Many people around the world struggle with vision issues such as presbyopia, cataracts, and amblyopia, yet no fundamental solutions currently exist. As we enter what is often called the "First Year of XR (VR/AR/MR)," there are still numerous challenges, such as vision correction and motion sickness prevention, that need to be addressed to provide a comfortable and natural XR experience.
Elcyo is tackling these challenges using our proprietary Fresnel Liquid Crystal Lens technology. We aim to bring the happiness of "clear vision at any distance" to everyone, across a wide range of fields, from healthcare to entertainment.

Our Founding Story

Around the world, many people face difficulties related to their vision. During our work on developing variable-focus lenses at Osaka University, we had the opportunity to speak with many individuals affected by these issues. These conversations deeply impressed upon us the need to apply our technology to glasses, ultimately leading to our decision to found Elcyo.
